Beyond the Boundary - I'll Be Here - Past

KyoAni’s Beyond the Boundary is one of those anime series that is a step above the cliched high school supernatural dramas. It isn’t without its flaws, but it has some nice moments that make the show a pleasant watch.

The story is about a young high school student who is half Youmu and invulnerable to wounds. He is also passionate about literature.

1. I’ll Be Here - Past

I’ll Be Here - Past is the all-star spinoff movie of Kyoto Animation’s Beyond the Boundary. This opulently-edited sequel to the series’ first season sees half-human, half youmu Akihito and the Spirit World warrior Mirai forge a bond as they battle the elusive Kyoukai no Kanata.

While this film does a great job of telling the story of Akihito and Mirai’s tumultuous relationship, it also offers a few notable blunders. It stretches out the main plot and fails to mention many of its key players. Moreover, it has the same problem as the previous film: it doesn’t provide the context necessary to make sense of all its fumblings.

Despite its limitations, I’ll Be Here - Past is still an entertaining and well-made film with a ton of yomu fighting action. It also has some of the series’ best CG shots.

Unlike the previous films, I’ll Be Here - Past does not introduce any new concepts to the series and is not a must-watch for anyone who has seen it already. Instead, it is best saved for the dedicated yomu enthusiast or the discerning anime buff. Its most notable achievements are its clever homage to the series’ predecessor, its tame yomu fighting and its impressive animation.

2. I’ll Be Here - Future

Beyond the Boundary (Japanese: Jing Jie noBi Fang, Hepburn: Kyokai no Kanata) is an anime series that follows a boy who is half a spirit. It’s based on a light novel series written by Nagomu Torii and illustrated by Kamoi Tomoyo.

Unlike most KyoAni anime that focus on high school students’ daily lives, Beyond the Boundary tells a story about supernatural events and adds real villains to the mix. This is done in order to maintain a strong urban fantasy atmosphere, and it’s something we haven’t seen before in the genre.

The plot is interesting, with plenty of action and romance to keep the viewer engaged. The animation is also great, with smooth transitions between scenes and a colorful palette that accentuates the beauty of the story.

While the anime series starts on a happy note, it soon becomes more tragic as Mirai, the girl Akihito loves, loses her memories. As a result, Akihito begins to think that the past is over. However, he finds out that she has been attacked by enemies.

It’s up to Akihito to protect her from the enemy and save her from death. It’s a difficult task, and one that requires a lot of effort.

Why?

This is a question that’s important to ask yourself, and it is a lesson learned from leadership expert Simon Sinek. In his book Start with Why, Sinek shows that the best leaders in the world all think and act in the same way, and it’s this that makes them successful.

It’s not a bad idea to watch the series in order, as this will give you the most accurate and complete experience possible. The series contains a lot of interesting characters and an exciting story, so it’s worth the effort!

3. Nase Hiroomi & Mitsuki

Beyond the Boundary is a unique slice of life anime that blends fantastic fight scenes, hilarious comedy, and a touch of romance with beautiful animation and a soundtrack that fits perfectly. It’s a great addition to KyoAni’s lineup of high school anime.

When the Nase siblings first meet Akihito Kanbara, Hiroomi and Mitsuki are curious to see who he is, and they follow his mission to conquer the half-spirit. In the process, they become friends and rely on each other.

While their bond is strong, they are forced to face various obstacles as a strong spirit known as Beyond the Boundary ruins their peaceful life. Despite this, they manage to overcome all of these problems and find love along the way.

In order to get the most out of your saga, it is important to watch the episodes in order. This will give you a deeper understanding of the storyline and the character development.

During the prequel, a mysterious phenomenon is starting to spread throughout Nagatsuki City. While observing the phenomenon, Mitsuki and Hiroomi notice a mirrored effect. They then head to Miroku Fujima’s place and learn that he has been sent to investigate the Nase family’s plans for a youmu called Beyond the Boundary.

The next day, Akihito receives a postcard from Yayoi that warns him of the Calm and that the youmu in the area are becoming weaker. He also meets with Ai and Ayaka and learns that the youmu he lost to the Hollow Shadow was actually the one Beyond the Boundary.

When the Calm ends, Mirai catches up with the group and starts to pursue Akihito, whose youmu half has taken over for the moment. However, she is halted by the appearance of Izumi, who reveals that she had saved her from being killed by the Inami clan after Yui died. She also explains that she had voluntarily taken the youmu from Miroku to gain its power so that she could protect herself and everything she loved.

4. Yakusoku no Kizuna

If you are new to Beyond the Boundary, there are a few things that you need to know. First of all, it’s a supernatural/urban fantasy anime with top-tier production values and smooth animation. The anime is based on the light novel of the same name, written by Torii Nagomu and illustrated by Kamoi Tomoyo.

The story revolves around Akihito, a half-youmu who is able to heal from injuries quickly. He meets a girl who has the ability to manipulate her blood and they develop an interesting relationship. When she attempts to kill Akihito, he rescues her and the two become inseparable.

But then, their friendship is tested when a spirit called Beyond the Boundary takes their peaceful life away from them. The group is forced to fight for survival as they try to find a way out of this impossible situation.

Fortunately, they find a solution thanks to Izumi who uses Mirai’s cursed blood to defeat the Beyond the Boundary. However, it costs her life and robs Akihito of his immortality.

After his recovery, Akihito reunites with Mirai who seems to have vanished after fighting Beyond the Boundary but she is still alive. She is devastated by her condition, but she wants to move on with her life and be normal again.

Beyond the Boundary has a mix of fantastic fights, hilarious comedy that doesn’t seem forced and a touch of romance. It also has beautiful animation and a soundtrack that complements it perfectly. You won’t regret watching this one if you like epic supernatural battles and heartwarming friendships.

5. Mini Theatre

If you’re looking for a slice of life anime that mixes fantasy fights and romance with beautiful animation, you should give Beyond the Boundary a try. The anime was produced by Kyoto Animation and is based on the light novel of the same name.

The plot follows a young high school student, Akihito Kanbara, who is half Youmu and invulnerable to injuries because of his abilities. One day, he meets a girl named Mirai Kuriyama who is a member of the spirit world.

Although she seems like an outcast, Mirai quickly befriends Akihito and persuades him to join her in the Literary Club. They bond over their love for books, but things get complicated when Mirai’s powers come into play.

While the story isn’t as wacky as other KyoAni shows, it still has the same charm that makes them so enjoyable. This supernatural urban fantasy series has fantastic fight scenes, hilarious comedy that doesn’t feel forced, and heartwarming friendships between its characters.

If you’re a fan of modern fantasy and high school shenanigans, Myriad Colors Phantom World is definitely worth checking out after watching Beyond the Boundary. This anime also has a similar storyline with supernatural entities fighting high school students, but it’s more colorful than Beyond the Boundary.

In the post-war period, people started to change their cultural tastes and seek new movies. This led to a rise in the popularity of mini theaters.

These theaters offered a small capacity and a unique selection of films. They also brought in social themes that were once considered inappropriate for film distribution. They were also a major contribution to Japanese independent film production, as they helped bring cutting-edge films from foreign countries to the public.
