Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer

In this animated Christmas special, Jake Spankenheimer helps his family stop Cousin Mel from taking over the store Grandma owns. It's a store that everyone in town loves, but the family is about to lose it all.

Eventually, Grandma gets run over by Santa's reindeer and he takes her to the North Pole. Now, Jake must find her to prove that Santa Claus is real and save the shop from selling.

Storyline

If you're looking for a classic Christmas movie to watch with your family, you'll want to check out Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. It's a fun storyline that follows a young narrator (Jake Spankenheimer) as he tries to figure out what happened to his grandmother, who disappeared one Christmas Eve after getting run over by a reindeer.

Jake's family doesn't believe him and he's not allowed to see Santa Claus, but when he sees Grandma getting run over by the reindeer, he knows she's missing. He embarks on a journey to find her and prove that she's alive.

He meets some cool characters along the way. The first is his grandmother who owns a store that everyone in town loves. She's a sweet and loving woman with a sense of humor.

She also doesn't take shit from anyone, which is great for a grandmother. She's a nice person, but she also has a snarky side that doesn't always fit in well with her sweet nature.

Her businessman friend is desperate to buy her store, but she doesn't want to sell it to him. When Cousin Mel and her attorney show up, they try to convince Grandma to go with them.

Cousin Mel is a villain who takes advantage of her relationship with Jake to get what she wants. Her plan is to poison the people of Cityville with fruitcake that has been spiked with a substance that's supposed to attract reindeer. She then uses the opportunity to get rid of Santa and sue him.

Once she realizes that her plan won't work, she pitches a fit. She claims she doesn't care about any of the people in Cityville, but it is obvious that her evil plan didn't work and she and her lawyer are just looking to take advantage of their friendship with Jake.

It's a fun and whimsical holiday special that can be watched through a VPN. However, it's not available on Netflix or any other streaming sites in the USA at this time. If you're interested in watching it, you can check out the CW website to see when it will be available on your area.

Music

"Grandma got run over by a reindeer" is an old-fashioned Christmas tune that tells of a grandmother who goes out in the snowstorm on Christmas Eve while drunk. When she is found the next day, she has been trampled, and it is believed that her injuries caused her death.

The song was written by Randy Brooks and first performed by Elmo Shropshire and Patsy Trigg in 1979. They later released it as a single, and it was soon a popular holiday song among radio listeners.

In the United States, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" was released on the Oink label in 1982, and was re-released as an Epic Records LP in 1984. It reached the top 50 on the country charts in 1998 and 1999.

While the song is about Christmas and Santa Claus, it also has a more serious message hidden in its lyrics. The music and lyrics of the song are meant to be a warning against overindulgence and alcohol during the holidays, especially with children. According to Jon Shapiro, MD, an associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, drinking during the holidays can have harmful effects on the body.

He added that excessive alcohol can lead to problems with the liver and other organs. In addition, it can cause a person to lose their sense of balance and be prone to falling.

There have been a few parodies of the song, such as "Osama got run over by a reindeer" and "New Kids got run over by a reindeer." These songs have different versions of the lyrics that are supposed to be funnier than the original.

The Elmo & Patsy music video for "Grandma Got Run Over by A Reindeer" was shown on MTV for many years, and has become a part of the Christmas culture. It has also been a staple of Cartoon Network's holiday specials.

The 2000 animated TV special Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer was based on the song. In the special, Cousin Mel is blamed for causing the accident, but he turns out to be innocent.

Cast

Santa Claus and his reindeer fly overhead and crash into Grandma. She’s rescued by Quincy, Santa’s head elf, and brought to his hospital at the North Pole workshop.

The Spankenheimers have a good Christmas, but it’s interrupted by the sudden disappearance of their beloved grandmother. Jake Spankenheimer, the family’s youngest son, e-mails Santa, and soon, Quincy, Santa’s head elf, takes him to the North Pole to tell him how his beloved grandmother got run over.

In the meantime, Jake’s greedy cousin Mel has plans to sell their Spankenheimer’s Christmas shop and use the money it would bring for her own gain. In a series of events, the Spankenheimers end up in court, where Jake and Cousin Mel prove to the judge that Santa ran over their grandmother.

A lawyer named I.M. Slime is on Mel’s side, as she has no problem putting Jake and Grandma in jail. The case is eventually won by the Spankenheimers, who have their Christmas shop saved, and Jake and Grandma are reunited in time for the holidays.

The song “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” was written and first recorded in 1979 by Randy Brooks, who is still performing the classic on his tour. The song has been recorded by many artists over the years, including Elmo & Patsy, who performed it at casinos in the Southwest under the name of “Elmo & Patsy.”

While it’s easy to see why this song became so popular, it also has some interesting legal implications, especially in Georgia, where negligence law is fairly low. In order to prevail in a negligence case, a victim must establish two facts by a preponderance of the evidence. One is that the driver of the modified sleigh was negligent in some way (speeding, drunk driving, etc.) and the second is that the injury resulting from the accident was serious enough to render Grandma permanently disabled or suffering from some other impairment of an important body function.

In the end, Jake and his family learn that the sleigh was driven by Santa, who accidentally ran over their grandmother, but not without taking her back to his house for medical care. It’s a sad story, but it also shows that even if you don’t believe in Santa, he can still have an effect on your life and your family.

Trailer

Grandma got run over by a reindeer is an animation that may have been overlooked by the big dogs - but if you're looking for a Christmas movie to watch, it's definitely a contender. Directed by Phil Ronan and starring Alex Doduk, Susan Blu, and Jim Staahl, this animated Christmas television special is certainly the stuff of legends.

The plot centres around a young man named Jake who is determined to prove Santa Claus is real and save his grandmother's Christmas shop from being sold to his greedy cousin Mel. When Jake sends an e-mail to the man in red, he is sent to the North Pole where he meets Quincy the elf and gets a lesson in e-mail etiquette.

What follows is an exciting journey of adventure and redemption spanning nine months, from the North Pole to Santa's grotto in Santa Claus Land. Along the way, there are some awe-inspiring sights to see.

One of the most impressive features of the film is the use of green screen technology, which provides the film with a stunning 3D effect. The animation is also notable for its high production values, with a lot of attention given to details such as the lighting and the sound design.

It's no surprise that the most popular holiday specials are likely to be those that feature the most festive music and are accompanied by the most dazzling graphics. Fortunately, there are plenty of such animated shows to choose from. But which is the best to stream?
