How to Watch Chucky in Order

Whether you're planning to watch the new Chucky series on SYFY, or you just want to revisit the franchise, the order you watch the films in can make all the difference.

The first film, "Child's Play," introduces us to Charles Lee Ray (voiced by Brad Dourif). He's a serial killer who transfers his soul into the body of a Good Guy doll.

The Mancini Order

The Mancini Order is a series of movies that revolve around Charles Lee Ray - known as Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) - who transfers his soul into a Good Guy doll that wreaks havoc on everyone it touches. The films primarily center on Chucky's violent antics and are often a mix of true slasher horror and dark comedy.

The first entry in the franchise is 1988's "Child's Play," which introduces the character and gives fans a glimpse into his origins. In this film, a young boy named Andy Barclay encounters Chucky and the story then switches to the arrival of Tiffany - Chucky's girlfriend/wife.

Since then, the series has evolved a lot and has been adapted several times throughout the years. Some films have been remakes, while others have completely revamped the entire storyline.

Each entry has a different plot line, and there are often changes in the characters involved. The first few entries focus on Chucky and his interactions with Andy Barclay, while the next two - Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky - are more focused on Tiffany and her relationship with the doll.

In addition to being a staple of the genre, the series has become a cult favorite among fans and spawned a TV series. The series, which is also based on the franchise, has a number of episodes and is airing now on SYFY.

The Remake Order

The Chucky franchise is a series of films that have been praised for its unexpected blend of slasher horror and comedy. Even though the franchise has been reimagined several times, it remains an icon of the horror genre. If you're a fan, you'll want to watch the series in chronological order, whether you're planning to watch it for the first time or revisit the movies with a group of friends.

If you're a newcomer to the franchise, it's important to know what order to watch the films in so that you can get a full understanding of the lore. There's a lot to learn about the world of the psychopathic doll, including how he came to be and what it means to be his alter ego.

Fortunately, there are several ways to navigate this complex series. For starters, there is the Mancini Order, which covers the original seven Child's Play/Chucky movies directed by Mario Van Peebles and Michael Mancini. This is the only official order that the movies were released in, and you can find them on Universal's The Chucky Complete 7-Movie Collection, which is available in both the US and UK.

This is the most important way to watch this film: it's a prequel that explains how Chucky got his start, and it also introduces Tiffany, the sociopathic girlfriend who is able to transfer Chucky's soul into other people. This movie is so good, in fact, that it's a must-watch if you're a fan of the series.

After this, the series took a slightly darker turn with Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky. While these are still sillier than the other films, they're also a lot more realistic and take the concept of the doll's personality a step further.

Another good entry in this franchise is Bride of Chucky, which focuses on Tiffany's son Glen, who is a doll living in England. He's content to be a dummy for a ventriloquist, but when he sees a horror movie featuring the reassembled bodies of Chucky and Tiffany, he starts to question his life. He travels to the United States, where he finds voodoo magic and is able to bring his parents back to life.

The TV Series Order

The Chucky franchise is one of the most popular horror series of all time. It has been made into eight films, a short film and a television show. It’s a series that consists of a mix of jump scares, slasher movies and satire.

The original Child’s Play movie was released in 1988 and introduces us to serial killer Charles Lee Ray, who transfers his soul into a Good Guy doll and terrorizes a young boy named Andy. It’s a terrifying film that’s full of witty dialogue and jump scares.

As an added bonus, the movie is also packed with references to other films in the franchise. It’s also a great way to get to know the world of Chucky and his equally terrifying paramour Tiffany Valentine.

Following the original film, the franchise continued to develop with a number of sequels in which Chucky takes on a more grown-up role. These included the Curse of Chucky, Seed of Chucky and Bride of Chucky.

In the fourth movie in the series, Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) is resurrected by his former girlfriend Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly), who performs a voodoo ritual that transfers Chucky’s soul to the doll again. Unfortunately, this causes Chucky to begin killing again – a problem which is only compounded by the fact that his doll form can take on multiple bodies at once.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to watch the series in order so that you can fully appreciate the characters’ backstories and how they intertwine with one another. In particular, it’s important to watch the first three movies in the series, as they set up the storyline and give you an idea of what to expect from the rest of the series.

After the series’ third installment, the Good Guy company has decided to reopen its factory and produce more of the popular toys. The new dolls are designed to be smarter than their predecessors, and they also come with a few added safety features. However, a disgruntled employee sabotage a sample of the dolls before they’re sent out to be sold.

The Cult of Chucky Order

The Cult of Chucky is a series of horror films in which the iconic doll Chucky is re-introduced to terrorize a new set of victims. The films feature a mix of classic horror and slasher elements, and each one is different from the previous film in the series.

The first entry of the series was Child's Play, which introduced us to Chucky and his depraved powers. After a brief absence, the original killer doll made a return in 2013's Curse of Chucky. This film saw Chucky take a more earnest approach to the franchise, and it was well-received by critics.

Another sequel, Cult of Chucky, took a darker approach to the franchise and deviated from the slasher elements in favor of more gory scenes. The film also introduced a brand-new killer doll that was really unsettling.

When Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is confined to a mental institution after being wrongly convicted of murdering her family, she's convinced she's the real culprit. But when her psychiatrist decides to use a "Good Guy" doll as a therapy tool, the deaths begin to pile up and Nica begins to question her psychosis.

Meanwhile, Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), who was Chucky's victim in the first movie, has become a patient at the mental hospital and is now suffering from PTSD from his encounter with the evil doll. The two of them clash again when Chucky comes to town and attempts to settle old scores.

Then, Chucky's long-ago bride Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) makes a comeback to help her former lover settle his score with the criminally insane. She stitches Chucky together and performs a voodoo ritual to re-trap his soul inside the doll, but soon, her spirit is trapped in an equally creepy plastic body that's dressed in bridal regalia.

After a while, the dolls kill a group of patients and Foley's doctor. Afterward, Foley decides to kill both of them. But the other doll's soul was split into two, and it possesses a short-haired doll.

It's a little hard to watch this movie in order as Chucky is introduced at the end of Child's Play and isn't fully developed until after the introduction of Tiffany. Nevertheless, it's still worth seeing this movie as it's a fun, if twisted, twist on the series.
