How to Watch Durarara!

If you're looking for a great action/mystery anime with lots of quirky characters and a good balance between comedy & social messages, then Durarara is definitely worth checking out. It's a story that will keep you entertained from beginning to end and is one of the best binge-worthy shows you can watch!

The Story

Durarara!! traces the lives of the strange characters living in Ikebukuro, an entertainment district of Tokyo.

It starts with the account of Mikado Ryuugamine, a young man who moves to the city after spending time in the countryside and who finds himself immersed in strange events. These events include gang wars, abductions, and supernatural mysteries.

The series has an enormous cast, with more than 10 recurring characters. These characters shift in and out of focus, making it hard to tell who is the protagonist, but they all eventually get a chance to shine.

As the show progresses, it becomes clear that everyone is part of one bigger story. This means that no single character should be given more screen time than others, and that all of them are equally important to the overall narrative.

This is a very interesting take on storytelling, and the result is very entertaining to watch. However, the lack of consistency between episodes can sometimes be frustrating.

Generally, the show jumps around from story to story, bouncing between a variety of different plots and characters. Occasionally, the story gets too confusing and makes you want to stop watching.

It's a very different style of storytelling to what you'll find in most anime, and it can be difficult to get used to. At the same time, it's a very effective way of building up tension and drama as the story unfolds.

For example, you'll see that a series of odd events is unfolding in Ikebukuro, which leads to the main character being kidnapped. This will later lead to the arrival of a dullahan, a mysterious and powerful female creature.

The dullahan has the ability to change her appearance, and she uses it to her advantage. She also has a gift for communicating with animals and humans.

Another character that's incredibly unique is Celty, who has the ability to become a human in order to survive. This allows her to teleport and perform other magical acts, as well as fight off monsters.

Durarara is not a series that you should miss out on, even if you're a fan of other manga and anime. The art is striking and the voice acting is fantastic.

The Characters

The bustling Tokyo district of Ikebukuro is the setting for this anime, which takes a look at all of the strange and fantastic things that happen in the city. With a cast of school friends, street gang members, and eccentric foreigners, the show is one that will stick out in your mind.

A high school student named Mikado Ryuugamine moves to Ikebukuro hoping for excitement. He soon finds himself ensnared in the tale of rumors, legends, specters, gangs, and more. As a result, the story shifts between all of these characters' points of view as the stories of everyone clash and coalesce in unexpected ways.

Durarara's awe-inspiring visuals are one of its main attractions, but the chemistry between all of the characters is just as important. With a large cast of characters to juggle, the series' tension often swells to a crescendo that punctuates these clashing stories with just the right amount of drama.

The Van Crew is a group of vigilantes who once belonged to the Blue Squares, but defected and joined the Dollars. Their van is decorated with different anime characters, most notably Miyuki Shiba from The Irregular at Magic High School.

Unlike most of the other gangs, the Van Crew is a very amiable group. They do good deeds around the city, including helping to prevent robberies by criminals. However, they can become very angry if their van is damaged. They are a huge fan of Ruri Hijiribe, an idol singer who also happens to be one of Saburo's friends.

Rokujo Toramaru is the leader of this biker gang and a ladies man. He does not hesitate to protect women if they are bullied and fights on par with Kyohei, who is considered to be a stronger fighter. He is on good terms with Chikage and Non, who is his girlfriend.

Masaomi Kida is a very soft-spoken girl who is a friend of Mikado and Anri. Her name is a reference to the Japanese manga and anime series Spice and Wolf, and she is also a big fan of otaku.

The Setting

In Durarara!!, Ryohgo Narita creates an ensemble cast of wacky characters living in a small Tokyo district. There are a bartender with inhuman strength, a talent scout with an agenda to bring down Izaya Orihara and his gang, an otaku who is obsessed with the headless Black Rider, a serial killer in movie costume, and the mysterious “Dollars,” a colorful gang that grows in size and influence.

It's all set against the backdrop of Ikebukuro, a city where legends run rampant and gangs battle for territory. It's a place where a boy from the countryside moves to, hoping to find a new life in this big city.

He gets his wish, but not without a few bumps in the road. His first encounter with the headless Black Rider is traumatic, as is his subsequent acquiescence to an urban legend that causes him to be summoned by the Dollars, who he believes are a mythical group of monsters.

After a series of events, Mikado and the Dollars team up to hunt down a ruthless crime boss in the area. Despite the fact that he is still young and has no idea about what he's up against, he's determined to find out more about the world around him and what's going on in Ikebukuro.

There are many different themes in the stories that Durarara presents, and the setting is a huge part of that. It's a real city, with lots of commercial history and a diverse population, but it also has a lot of gangs and legends that are just as bizarre as the characters in the story.

Seeing the real city was something I loved about the show, because it helped me get the hang of the characters and their world. The streets that the characters run wild on in the anime were all taken from real places, and the scenery and atmosphere really felt authentic to me.

In general, I liked the story and how it portrayed Ikebukuro as a place with a large variety of characters. The characters are all very different from each other, and it was fun to watch their lives interact with each other.

The Music

Durarara is a unique series that focuses on many different characters and their stories. It’s based on the light novels by Ryohgo Narita and is directed by Takahiro Omori of Brain’s Base. It’s a pretty fun show and is worth watching!

The series starts out with the main character, Ryuugamine Mikado, moving to the city of Ikebukuro to attend Raira Academy with his childhood friend Masaomi Kida. The two soon find out that the city is home to some shady characters.

One of them is the Black Rider, a mysterious motorcyclist who rides around in black and whinnies when he turns on his engine. After hearing a story about him from Kida, Mikado is fascinated by the legend.

Another character, Shinra Kishitani, is a doctor and has a secret that he hides from everyone. He also has a girl named Celty that he loves very much but is constantly disappointed by.

There are also a few other interesting characters that come into play. These include the Dullahan courier who’s looking for her head, a mad scientist that is in love with her, and a sketchy information broker.

Ultimately, this is a very complex series that’s not as easy to follow as it sounds because each character has a completely distinct personality. They’re not all good and some of them are quite bad too, but they’re all very entertaining to watch!

I found the music in this show to be very well done, especially the opening and ending credits. However, I did notice that the music at the end of each episode was repetitive and it can get really annoying if you’re listening to it at bedtime or on a long car ride.

It also had some annoying stings that were repeated throughout the episodes that I found annoying as well! I hope that the soundtrack will improve as time goes on!

Overall, the music in Durarara is very well done, with a variety of different genres and styles that all fit the story. The opening and ending credits songs are a really great way to start off the show, and the BGM isn’t too bad as well!
