If you're wondering how to watch endeavor season 8 online, then you've come to the right place. The series is available to watch on BritBox and PBS Masterpiece Amazon Channel.
In this season, Morse and the team investigate a case that's linked to IRA retaliation in Northern Ireland, a murder near a naturist resort and a murder spree at a hotel eight years ago. Meanwhile, Thursday gets some news that creates tension at home.
If you’re in the market for a new TV show to binge watch, you’re in luck. The venerable eponymous DS Endeavour Morse is back for three awe-inspiring new episodes, which will be shown on PBS Masterpiece beginning on Sunday, June 19th. There is a wide range of streaming options available for this iconic series, including Amazon, Apple, and Google Play. The best place to start is by looking at the top rated shows on your chosen platform. For example, the PBS Masterpiece website has a list of titles, complete with dates and times for each new episode. The website also offers a variety of viewing options ranging from live to on demand streaming. You can even sign up for a free trial of PBS’s premium channel, Masterpiece.
After what seemed like an interminable wait, Endeavour is back on our screens this Sunday, 19 June 2022 on PBS Masterpiece. The drama, which has been capturing fans’ attention since it was first broadcast in 2006, is set in 1971 and stars Shaun Evans as DS Endeavour Morse and Roger Allam as DCI Fred Thursday.
In season eight, Morse and his team are placed at the heart of the glitz and glamour of 1970s football in a series that exposes the true cost of success and celebrity, as well as revealing a deep-rooted division that is much closer to home. The series also introduces a new cast member, Hilda Bruce-Potter, played by Marion Bailey, who is known for her roles in Britannia, Peterloo, Allied and The Crown.
The core cast of the show will return, including Shaun Evans as DS Endeavour Morse, Roger Allam as DCI Fred Thursday, Anton Lesser as CS Reginald Bright, James Bradshaw as Max DeBryn, Sean Rigby as Jim Strange, Abigail Thaw as Dorothea Frazil and Caroline O'Neill as Win Thursday. Sara Vickers will make her return as Joan Thursday after missing the last three episodes due to maternity leave.
While some of the main characters are back, many others will be joining them for the eighth series. Violetta (Stephanie Leonidas), who tragically died in the season 7 finale, won’t be making an appearance.
There will also be a new addition to the cast in the form of Julian Moore-Cook as a soccer player who gets involved in a murder case. He has a few big credits to his name and will be best known for playing Prince William in King Charles III, as well as the role of a college head in Sharpe’s Challenge.
There are a few other new cast members to look out for as well, and they all have plenty of acting experience to their names. Oliver Chris, for example, is best known for his role as Dr. Elliot Wingqvist in Apollo, and he has appeared on MASTERPIECE as well.
