How to Watch Friday on Netflix

If you're looking for a stoner comedy that's going to make you laugh then Friday is the movie for you. It's one of the best-known film franchises and has a huge following around the world.

To stream Friday on Netflix you'll need to use a VPN. These services work incredibly well with streaming platforms and offer great connection speeds.

The first movie

If you’re looking for a fun, rewatchable film that will also give you a good night’s rest, Groundhog Day is the movie to watch. Starring Bill Murray as a self-involved weatherman who catches himself stuck in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania on the same day every year (it happens, if you’re wondering), this classic is sure to be an instant hit with both the whole family and your friends. It’s also a bona fide homage to a number of other rewatchable films, including Ghostbusters and Caddyshack.

This list of the best movies to watch on Friday is updated regularly as new titles join Hulu. Hopefully, it will give you something to enjoy on a rainy evening! Please feel free to share your favorite rewatchable films in the comments section!

The second movie

The second movie in the Friday series is Friday After Next and it takes place on one single Friday in the life of two South Central LA stoners Craig Jones (Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker). The film focuses on their daily struggles with drug dealers, neighborhood bullies, family and friends.

The Friday franchise has been a hit with audiences and is now set to return for a fourth installment. However, two of the original cast members have sadly passed away; John Witherspoon and Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr. Since then, there have been many rumors and speculations about whether or not there will be a new Friday movie released. Until then, we’ll keep you posted with all the latest news and expert tips on getting the best deals this Black Friday 2021.

The third movie

The third Friday the 13th film picks up the day after the second one, with Jason Voorhees terrorising a group of teens visiting a friend’s home on Crystal Lake. The film introduces Jason’s hockey mask, which will be worn for the rest of the films in the franchise. The film also sees a new camp counselor training program open near Jason’s house, causing him to have a change of heart.

The original three Friday the 13th films are available on Region A Blu-ray, but you may want to consider Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013) and Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010) as well. They’re both highly informative and add to the overall experience of watching these movies.

The fourth movie

If you're a fan of Ice Cube's stoner comedy Friday, you'll definitely want to check out the fourth instalment - which was recently confirmed. This one reteams him with the first three and sees them running a cannabis dispensary, which is robbed during the chaos. The gang gets sent to prison for their actions and have to learn how to survive while they're behind bars. This one is a bit of a slog and it might be better to watch it on Netflix as it's not for everyone.

Elsewhere this weekend, we've got a superhero movie with a secret group of immortals protecting Earth from extinction and a documentary about Pamela Anderson's life story. We've also got a heartwarming romcom on Peacock and a horror film that is just about impossible to describe.
