The second movie
The second movie in the Friday series is Friday After Next and it takes place on one single Friday in the life of two South Central LA stoners Craig Jones (Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker). The film focuses on their daily struggles with drug dealers, neighborhood bullies, family and friends.
The Friday franchise has been a hit with audiences and is now set to return for a fourth installment. The third movie
The third Friday the 13th film picks up the day after the second one, with Jason Voorhees terrorising a group of teens visiting a friend’s home on Crystal Lake. The film also sees a new camp counselor training program open near Jason’s house, causing him to have a change of heart.
The original three Friday the 13th films are available on Region A Blu-ray, but you may want to consider Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013) and Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010) as well. They’re both highly informative and add to the overall experience of watching these movies.
The fourth movie
If you're a fan of Ice Cube's stoner comedy Friday, you'll definitely want to check out the fourth instalment - which was recently confirmed. This one reteams him with the first three and sees them running a cannabis dispensary, which is robbed during the chaos. The gang gets sent to prison for their actions and have to learn how to survive while they're behind bars. This one is a bit of a slog and it might be better to watch it on Netflix as it's not for everyone.
