The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting children, parents and Primary leaders to participate in a Friend to Friend event. The broadcast, which lasts about 20 minutes, will focus on baptism, the Holy Ghost and the sacrament.
The broadcast will be available on-demand beginning Saturday, February 19, at 10 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, and will be available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Friend to Friend 2022 is an amazing opportunity for Latter-day Saint youth ages 8 to 18 to create global connections and build lasting friendships. Throughout the weekend, participants will have the chance to meet people from all over the world and explore their similarities and differences. This event will also provide a number of important interpersonal skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Watching the Friend to Friend broadcast can be a great way for children, parents, and Primary teachers to learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The February 2022 Friend to Friend broadcast featured interactive activities, videos and songs that focused on the covenant path associated with baptism, the Holy Ghost, and the sacrament. The event was hosted by the Primary General Presidency, the children hosts, and the explorer, and was available in many languages. It can be viewed at home, in a Primary meeting, or in any group setting to supplement gospel teaching.
Latter-day Saint children ages 3-11, their parents and Primary leaders and teachers are invited to participate in a Friend to Friend event. This Face to Face-style event lasts about 20 minutes and includes interactive activities and videos focusing on the covenant path, specifically baptism, the Holy Ghost and the sacrament. This event will be available on the Latter-day Saints Channel and Gospel for Kids YouTube.
This first-of-its-kind event was designed to be fun and faith-promoting. It was a big step forward for the Church and for the Primary, which has long been known for its commitment to families and children’s spiritual growth. You can watch it on a variety of devices, including smartphones and tablets, as well as televisions with Internet access. The event is also available in American Sign Language (ASL), Cantonese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin, with close captioning for those with hearing impairments.
