1. Season 1
Fruits Basket is a shojo anime that has garnered a huge fanbase over the years. It tells the story of a girl named Natsuki who moves to a new town and befriends three children. It also features a recurring theme of friends creating fruit baskets for each other as their first act of friendship.

4. Season 4

During this season, Tohru continues to learn about her family’s secrets and she makes a close friend in the outcast Cat zodiac. She also starts dating Kyo after they have a heart-to-heart conversation about their mutual feelings and he confesses his love for her.
She also finds a new best friend in Arisa, a gang member who is a lot more friendly than the rest of her gangmates. When Arisa starts to get close to Tohru, she finds that she loves her for who she is and not just for the fact that she’s Kyoko’s daughter.
Tohru also finds out that the head of the Soma family is a ruthless man named Akito. He has a history of kidnapping, bullying, and murder and this gives Tohru a reason to be cautious.
Another major event in this season is Tohru’s first New Year’s Eve celebration. She is nervous about her first New Year’s without her parents but she is soon able to settle down and spend it with her new friends.
In the end, she manages to cause the least amount of trouble and even has a special surprise for her parents!
