How to Watch Hawkeye on Disney Plus

The eponymous Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner’s last of the original Avengers, is getting his own solo MCU show on Disney Plus. We’ve already gotten a few tasters in WandaVision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier, but now we’re getting our first real taste of him on his own.

In this new series, Barton is trying to focus on his family and a new protégé Kate Bishop, but he’s drawn into a criminal conspiracy. Read on for everything you need to know about how to watch this Marvel superhero adventure.

How to Watch

Jeremy Renner returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, in a new limited series on Disney+. He's joined by Hailee Steinfeld as his protege Kate Bishop, a young woman with a knack for archery who aims to become a hero like her mentor.

Unlike the Avengers, Hawkeye is not powered by superhuman strength, but he can shoot arrows that can explode, blind people, tie up enemies, short circuit electronics and more. He's also a mentor to other Marvel heroes and has a knack for inspiring others.

He first appeared in the MCU in Thor: The Dark World, where he served as the steed's guardian and mentor, before joining the group in The Avengers. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, he helped the group fight off the forces of evil to prevent Ultron from taking over Asgard.

As part of his duties, Hawkeye helps shield Captain America (Chris Evans) from the webs of Spider-Man (Tom Holland), and he assists Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olson) in becoming a hero. She's even inspired to go out and join the Avengers after learning about her abilities from Barton.

In Avengers: Endgame, however, Barton's family is wiped out by Thanos's snap, and he takes a turn for the worst. He starts out as a ruthless vigilante Ronin, targeting criminal gangs and killing anyone he believes to be unworthy of his family's existence. He's eventually rescued by Natasha Romanoff and brought back to the fold by Cap, but not before spending five years as a violent vengeance-seeker.

The new limited series is set in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, and follows Barton as he tries to get home for the holidays while fighting crime with his protege Kate Bishop. The six-episode series, created and executive produced by Mad Men alum Jonathan Igla, is available on Disney+ Wednesdays.

With Christmas just around the corner, and a copycat vigilante making waves, Barton is drawn into a battle against a criminal conspiracy. As he tries to bring order to the city, he meets his biggest fan, and learns about the trials of being a hero.

Streaming Options

Hawkeye is a brand new Marvel series that will premiere on Disney Plus in November. This series follows Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) a year after Avengers: Endgame and the events of the movie. He is reunited with his wife and son, but he is still feeling the weight of his past. He must enlist the help of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a young archer who is destined to become a superhero, to take on his former enemies and get back home in time for Christmas.

The show will also feature Vera Farmiga as Kate's mother, Eleanor, and Florence Pugh reprises her role as Black Widow. Other cast members include Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Brian d'Arcy James.

While the first two episodes of Hawkeye debut on Disney Plus on Wednesday, new episodes will roll out every week until Christmas. However, there is no guarantee that the series will have a second season.

There are a few options for people who want to watch Hawkeye without paying a subscription fee, including YouTube TV and Amazon Prime Video. Both services have the option to download movies and TV shows for offline viewing.

Alternatively, you can use a VPN service to watch the show. This is the most secure option because it encrypts your data and prevents hackers from accessing it. In addition, a VPN will mask your location and prevent your IP address from being traced.

In addition to protecting your privacy, a VPN will also give you access to a wide range of content, including Netflix and Hulu. It will allow you to stream high-quality video and audio from these streaming platforms, so you can enjoy your favorite shows from anywhere.

Another benefit of using a VPN to watch Hawkeye is that it will keep your data secure from third-party hackers and Internet service providers. It will encrypt all of your traffic and ensure that only authenticated users can connect to your VPN.

However, it is important to note that you will need a VPN service that offers a high-speed connection. Free VPNs are often prone to throttling and enforce download limits, which can make them ineffective for watching HD content. A market-leading VPN, like NordVPN, will provide a fast and reliable streaming experience. You can even try the service for free with a 30-day trial!

Characters

Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is one of the best-known heroes in the Marvel universe. He was a founding member of the Avengers, who fought alongside Captain America in the Battle of New York and later sided with his fellow Avenger during the Civil War.

During his earliest years, Clint Barton was orphaned and joined a circus to pursue his dream of becoming a skilled archer. His training was with a Swordsman named Trickshot, and Barton developed a passion for martial arts and bow-and-arrow combat. He excelled in this area, and eventually decided to become a costumed crime fighter known as Hawkeye.

As a Ronin, Hawkeye possesses skills in hand-to-hand combat as well as ranged weapons. He is a master of the bow and arrow, and he is highly trained in the use of firearms at a distance. He also possesses the ability to transform objects into lethal weapons. He has a quiver of "trick arrows" that he uses when fighting enemies.

He can also turn any object into a weapon, such as tin plates, coins or sticks. This ability makes him a dangerous opponent in any environment. He has been known to transform a bomb into a weapon, and even uses a Sky - Cyle (a snowmobile that can be turned into an anti-gravitational vehicle) when traveling in space.

While Hawkeye’s relationship with Kate Bishop is a central focus of the series, there are several other characters who also play significant roles. Kazi Kazimierczak is a key member of the Tracksuit Mafia, a criminal organization that is led by Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox). As the show progresses, we learn that Kazi had been working closely with Kingpin and had been keeping unsavory secrets from Maya.

Another major character is Echo, a martial artist who is the commander of the Tracksuit Mafia. While she initially seems to be a loyal friend of Clint and Kate, her actions soon change.

As a Ronin, Hawkeye carries a quiver of customized "trick arrows" that can be used in ranged and hand-to-hand combat. He has also developed a reputation for using any item in his possession to fight, including tin plates, coins and sticks. This skill sets him apart from other Ronins, who have more traditional weapons and use them sparingly.

Episodes

After starring in Avengers: Endgame, Jeremy Renner has re-entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Clint Barton / Hawkeye. In a series of mini-episodes, he partners with young archer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to confront enemies from his past in order to get back to his family for Christmas.

The mini-series, which is based on Marvel Comics, is written by Jonathan Igla and directed by Rhys Thomas. Its sixth installment, "So This Is Christmas," will be released on Disney+ Wednesday, December 22.

Having sworn off vigilantism, former Avenger Clint Barton returns to the family business of law enforcement and tries to fend off local crime in New York City as Hawkeye. But when a criminal threat from his past arrives, he reluctantly teams up with his biggest fan and apprentice, Kate Bishop.

With a lot of focus on character dynamics, the first two episodes of hawkeye are all about setting up Kate and Clint as friends, which is a great way to get to know them before jumping into action. Episode three, for example, focuses on Kate and Clint taking on the streets of Manhattan, while also showing them working together during a festive movie marathon.

Although the mini-series is still very early on in its run, it's already got plenty of fans interested in watching it. The first two episodes are available to stream now, with a third coming up on 24 November.

The show is based on a 2012 series of comic books authored by Matt Fraction and David Aja. It introduces characters like Echo and features appearances from Black Widow co-star Florence Pugh.

As with other Disney+ series, hawkeye is divided into six-episode installments. Each of the episodes can be watched separately, or viewed in order for the full experience.

It’s also worth mentioning that the show isn’t a completely standalone story, as there are some important references to previous Marvel movies and television shows. There are also a few hints that there’s a bigger story in store, which is sure to keep the plot fresh.

In addition to Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld, the cast of hawkeye also includes Linda Cardellini as Clint’s wife, Laura Barton; Ava Russo as Clint’s sister, Lila Barton; Ben Sakamoto as Clint’s son, Cooper Barton; and Cade Woodward as his daughter, Nathaniel Barton. Vincent D’Onofrio also makes an appearance as Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin.
