Comedian Bill Burr has partnered with Quibi to write, direct and star in the series. Inspired by Tyler Falbo’s digital shorts, each episode will feature a character facing a desperate desire: love, fame, money, intelligence, family, power and intelligence, among a host of other hot-button topics, when an extremely unethical decision offers them the chance to get exactly what they want.

Quibi (short for "Quick Bites") is a new streaming service that aims to deliver short-form content to mobile devices. Rather than hoarding licensed TV shows and movies, its output will be all-original short-form content designed to be watched in 7-11 minute hits. It's also set to launch a gimmick that allows viewers to shift the perspective of their screen as they watch content.
The company's first slate of original content is set to include several shows starring Guillermo del Toro and Idris Elba. Additionally, Quibi is expected to launch a number of shows with a 'turnstyle' feature that allows users to shift the POV while watching content by simply turning their phones.

Rick rants about many topics that he wishes someone had educated him on thirty years ago. These subjects are then used to create hilarious but tragic outcomes that are addicting and will leave you craving more episodes.

Falbo first began making short films in high school and says he was drawn to the art of filmmaking because it was such a creative way to present ideas. He continued to work on this project after graduation with O’Donoghue, who was the writer, along with Mike Collins ’14, who served as the gaffer for all 10 episodes, and Olivia Wilson ’19, who worked as the first assistant camera position.
