I've seen this movie many times and it never fails to be enjoyable, especially when watching it with a group of friends or family. It has a sexy vibe, great photography, and amazing acting that will take you back to a time when people really did have more fun in the sun than they do today.

This 114 minute version was edited slightly differently than the French version. It was also a bit longer and features some scenes that aren't in the French version.

The movie has been restored and is now available on Blu-ray for those that are interested in watching the movie for the first time. Criterion's release on Blu-ray looks terrific and has excellent sound as well. The movie has some nice detail and very realistic contrast. The sound has also been improved and the movie doesn't have a lot of edge-enhancement and macroblocking which is very problematic on most DVDs.

The film is a very well-made thriller and it is worth seeing if you are interested in watching a French movie with some of the best acting of Alain Delon and Romy Schneider. I haven't seen this movie in a long time but it is on my list of movies to watch again.
