How To Watch Monster High Movies Online

Mattel’s Monster High doll line is one of the most popular and globally embraced brands. Featuring an entire franchise of web series, TV specials and movies, it encourages a more accepting world where everyone can embrace their unique monster selves.

Clawdeen Wolf, a half human and half werewolf teen, arrives at Monster High with a secret. She quickly finds friends in roommates Frankie Stein and Draculaura and forms a crush on the kind Deuce Gorgon. But all that comes to a head when mysterious happenings threaten to reveal her human heritage.

New Ghoul at School

New Ghoul at School follows the life of Frankie Stein, a girl who has just started her first year at Monster High. She's got a lot to learn, including how to handle being a solo ghoul and how to make friends at her new school.

The game is set in the Monster High universe, and all the characters from the show are around to greet you as you take on a role in the school's clubs and events. There's a wide range of quests to help your character win the respect of her peers in the Fearleading Squad and Student Council.

There's also some platforming here, as you can jump onto bookshelves and hang from bone railing ledges to find hidden items. It's a nice touch, but it's not terribly exciting.

In fact, a lot of this is fetch quests that are often repetitive and feel like they're taking the most drab parts of RPG adventuring and fitting them into the world of fashion dolls. It's not a bad game but it's a bit of a shame that there aren't more interesting things to do.

New Ghoul is a mixed bag of a game, but it does its job well enough as a fix for people who enjoy the Monster High franchise. It's worth playing if you're looking for a little extra Monster High in your gaming life, but only extreme fans of the franchise will get much out of it.

Ghouls Rule

The colorful cast of ghouls and monsters in this special have a lot to say about Halloween. For years, they’ve been warned not to mix with the humans at all costs, but Frankie and her friends soon learn that ghouls and normies used to spend Halloween together before the big freeze. It’s up to them to put an end to this old foe - and to prove that their ghoulish ways are just as good for the human race as they are for their brethren.

Ghouls Rule is a fun-filled celebration of the holiday that is sure to get the family in the Halloween spirit. The film is a fun watch for all ages, and its message of tolerance is one that will make parents and kids alike proud.

You can buy or rent a copy of this movie on iTunes, Amazon Video, Apple TV, Google Play Movies, YouTube, Vudu, and Microsoft Store. The DVD also comes with a webisode - "Flowers for Slow Moe" - that is genuinely one of the most impressive (and clever) things about the film. The Monster High Ghouls Rule line of toys is also a winner, with five dolls and two outfits to choose from.

13 Wishes

A new school year at Monster High begins with the hopes and dreams of many students. Howleen Wolf's dream of popularity becomes a possibility when she stumbles upon a genie who grants her not three, but thirteen wishes!

As the days go by, some of the wishes start to have dark side effects, and in a short period of time the students' worlds are turned upside down. Lagoona becomes obsessed with being freshwater, Die Trying turns dangerous and Abbey's ideas as president don't take well at all by the school.

Meanwhile, Howleen uses her last wish to help her friends out of detention. As Gigi grants it, she also accidentally unintentionally frees Whisp, who follows them unseen until they return to the lantern and find twelve mirror pieces.

Despite its low budget, 13 Wishes has some visual appeal and clever ideas for kids. However, it's also a very bare-bones animated feature that may not be suitable for all tweens. Its CG animation, lack of depth, and cluttered design may leave parents feeling a little tense.

Haunted High

Haunted High is an incredibly daft film that's a joy to watch. The characters are utterly bonkers and the plot is ridiculous but it's also told with a sense of humour and feels like it was made with love. It's just a shame that it plays out more like a Scooby Doo episode than a horror movie but there's a lot to laugh at here.

Finn, a young werewolf, is recruited into a school for monsters that's far more dangerous than he expected. He soon discovers that Haunted High has a dangerous history with werewolves, and will be more likely to kill him than help him.

Luckily, Finn's friends, Spectra and Sirena, are there to save him. They're not always the most perfect of friends, but they do try their best to rib each other about every little thing.

It's a shame that this movie takes such a long time to get going, but once it gets going, there's never a dull moment. Whether it's the ghost of Principal Revenant who uses her chains to punish Spectra, or the wisecracking janitor Ortiz (Danny Trejo), there's a good mix of comedy and scares throughout the film.

Boo York Boo York

The ghouls are invited to the big city to attend a fancy gala that celebrates the arrival of a magical comet. But this isn't all fun and games, as Cleo de Nile's sister Nefera has the audacious goal of using the comet's powers to her advantage. Featuring a top notch cast, including Draculaura and Operetta, the film is a definite must see.

To get the most out of this movie, we recommend you rent or buy a copy on Blu-ray, preferably the high definition variety. You can do this from any major online retailer, including Amazon and Netflix, as well as many other traditional brick-and-mortar retail outlets. The aforementioned video rental providers offer the best value for your hard-earned dollar.

There are a few other notables to be found on this disc, including the short-lived spinoff, Monster High: The Next Step, which is not for the faint of heart. The other major players on this list are the unintentionally hilarious puddle jumpers, the incestuous monsters and ghouls and the indulging Cleo de Nile and her brood. This is a must watch for any monster fan. Hopefully we'll have a new generation of ghouls to watch it all the way through the trilogy in no time!

The Time Machine

The Time Machine is a dystopian science fiction story, imagining a dark future for society and grounding those ideas in scientific principles and theories. It tells the story of a Victorian inventor who invents a time machine and journeys to the future, arriving at 802,701 London.

He expects to find a more advanced civilization, but instead finds the human race divided into two distinct species: the Eloi, who live above ground, and the Morlocks, who live underground. The Eloi are gentle and child-like, while the Morlocks are savage.

It's a tale of class conflict and societal degeneration. It is also a cautionary tale about the potential dangers of technological advancement.

Guy Pearce stars as Alexander Hartdegen, a professor who develops and invents a time machine after his fiancée Emma is murdered by a mugger. He devotes four years to the project, eventually completing the device and traveling back in time to save her life.

Despite its flaws, The Time Machine is still an enjoyable film to watch. Its acting is decent, its pace brisk and its dialogue thoughtful. It's not as campy as George Pal's 1960 version of the book, but it is still a good watch and captures the essence of Wells' original work.
