ONE Championship is set to celebrate its belated tenth anniversary with an extraordinary event – ONE X. Featuring two MMA title fights, the card features women’s atomweight champion Angela Lee defending her belt against Stamp Fairtex and flyweight champion Adriano Moraes putting his title on the line against Yuya Wakamatsu.
On March 26, ONE Championship will host their 10-year anniversary extravaganza, ONE X. The event will be broadcast live from Singapore Indoor Stadium and is going to feature an incredible lineup of high-level fights. The tenth-anniversary event will include 20 bouts spread across Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Submission Grappling.
The main event of the show will feature ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee defending her title against Stamp Fairtex. This is Lee’s first fight back after giving birth to her daughter, and she will be looking to keep her title.
Fairtex has also been on the rise in the last year, having won both her MMA and Muay Thai titles in the atomweight division. She was a standout at the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix in the finals, where she fought her way to an armbar submission victory against Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning wrestler Ritu Phogat.
ONE Championship is one of the biggest combat sports organizations in the world, and they are proving that they don’t limit themselves to just putting on large UFC events. They have made an effort to put together a very diverse show that will appeal to the masses.
The fight card features six MMA title matches, three Kickboxing title matches and two grappling matchups. In one of the MMA matches, two-division MMA champion Reinier de Ridder will face multi-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Andre Galvao. In the other, women’s atomweight contender Mei Yamaguchi will take on rising BJJ star Danielle Kelly. This will be a massive show, and it is likely to last for over ten hours.
ONE Championship is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with the biggest card it has put on in its history, dubbed "ONE X." The show features a whopping 20 fights and includes six title fights across multiple sports. This includes a bout between women's atomweight champion Angela Lee and Stamp Fairtex and flyweight champion Adriano Moraes defending his crown against Yuya Wakamatsu.
The event also boasts a special rules bout between former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and Muay Thai legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon. The fight is scheduled for alternating rounds of both ONE Super Series Muay Thai and ONE's global ruleset for mixed martial arts.
The ONE X MMA app and ONE Championship YouTube channel stream the main card on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. ET. Other preliminary fights include Belal Muhammad vs. Sean Brady, Makhmud Muradov vs. Caio Borralho, Volkan Oezdemir vs. Nikita Krylov, Zubaira Tukhugov vs. Lucas Almeida, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov vs. Gadzhi Omargadzhiev. The ONE X main event is the best of the lot, as it includes an impressive array of world-class talent.
Post-fight interviews are a great way for mixed martial arts fighters to express their gratitude to their coaches, training partners and families. They also serve as an opportunity for them to cut promos that can make or break their careers. For example, Paddy Pimblett was able to speak on men’s mental health after winning UFC Fight Night 208. The interview was one of the most memorable in ONE history and is a must-watch for fans of MMA and the promotion.
