Meanwhile, the alien on the lifeboat grows to a size that threatens Shaw. She releases her alien offspring onto the creature, which propels a ovipositor down the alien’s throat.

Once the ovipositor finishes, it begins to dissolve. Its body then falls apart and recombines, leaving behind a cascade of alien DNA.
