Even though they're not very good, the squad of li'l fascist soldiers have a charisma that's easy to root for. They have a special ability to leap in the air with a superhuman strength, so they're a great team to watch.

The only problem is, as the film goes on, you start to realize that these li'l fascists aren't doing much for the people of the world. They're just doing what they've been taught to do by their high school history teacher, Lieutenant Jean Rasczak (Michael Ironside), and he's using that as a tool to turn them into "bug killing machine citizens."

He does this by making regular civilians afraid of a threat to their lives and the safety of their loved ones. He's also used a propaganda campaign to indoctrinate the people of the world into thinking that violence is the answer to pretty much everything, which isn't what it's supposed to be.
