How to Watch the 25 Days of Christmas Marathon All Month Long

During the Christmas holidays, there's no better way to get into the spirit than by curling up with your favorite holiday movies. And with the 25 Days of Christmas marathon going all month long, you'll have a ton of yuletide cheer.

This year's lineup includes Home Alone, Arthur Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Daddy's Home 2 as well as special episodes of The Simpsons. We'll also give you a rundown of where to watch all of these movies online so you can enjoy them to the fullest!

1. Sling TV

For many families, the holiday season is a time to relax and watch movies. Whether you're looking for classics or more recent releases, you can find something to watch with Sling TV.

Sling is a live streaming service that offers hundreds of channels to choose from, including many major networks. The service is available on iOS and Android devices, as well as smart TVs and other streaming devices.

When you subscribe to Sling, you'll receive access to a wide range of channels, which you can then customize as you see fit. Sling also has a number of add-on channel packages that let you add on more genres and premium channels like HBO and Showtime, which can cost an extra $5 to $15 per month.

It also offers a free seven-day trial and no contract. Its starting price is $7 a month, which is pretty reasonable considering the service’s channel selection.

You can watch FuboTV on the web, on your phone or tablet, and on smart TVs. Its apps are available for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.

The user interface is clean, compact, and snappy. It’s a two-column design that lists channels down the left side and programming details on the right.

Its sports tab is a particularly useful tool, as it contains a handy list of all the sports channels on FuboTV, organized by their genres. This includes soccer, football, golf, and racing.

Another feature is the Guide, which shows upcoming events and content scheduled for up to six days in the future. This lets you see what’s on and when it’ll start, and it gives you the option to record any content you don’t want to watch immediately.

Depending on the plan you choose, you’ll get access to local stations in your area. You’ll also get national network programming from ABC, NBC, Fox, and CBS.

However, the service is missing some major networks, including Turner channels and A&E and AMC Networks. Its starting price makes it a bit more expensive than competing services, but it’s still an excellent value for cord cutters looking to replace their cable subscription.

3. DirecTV

DirecTV offers a wide range of TV and audio programming services through satellite transmission. The company serves more than 20 million subscribers in the United States and 10 million in Latin America. The service is available for residential homes, business offices, restaurants, hotels, and college dorms.

The DirecTV network receives shows from hundreds of content providers and transmits them via a combination of optical fiber links, Ku-band satellite uplink, microwave and terrestrial transmission to uplink centers around the country. The signals are then relayed to a consumer's satellite dish and then decoded and broadcast on the home television set.

To prevent signal piracy, DirecTV utilizes ISO/IEC 7816 smart cards that tell the receiver how to decode and decrypt the programming. These cards are branded with the DirecTV logo and the model number of the receiver.

Another feature that distinguishes DirecTV from its rivals is a free cloud DVR service for all new subscribers. This DVR service lets you record your favorite shows so that you can watch them later without having to worry about losing the episodes.

One thing that may turn off some potential customers is DirecTV's limited amount of live TV channels. It's also not as competitive in the streaming market as some of its rivals.

If you are looking for a more affordable alternative to DIRECTV, consider Sling TV or a streaming service like Netflix or Amazon Video. These services don't offer live TV channels, but they do provide a large library of movies and original shows for a lower monthly fee.

4. Hulu + Live

From December 1 all the way through 25, it celebrates the holiday with a stacked lineup of classics, including The Santa Clause, The Muppet Christmas Carol and Home Alone.

Hulu has always had a solid catalog of Christmas movies, but this year, it's also made the move into original Christmas content. It's added a handful of original series, like The Handmaid's Tale and Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and a good number of new Christmas specials.

If you're looking for a simple way to watch holiday movies and TV shows, Hulu + Live is a great option. In addition to its on-demand library, you can stream a wide range of local and regional broadcast and cable networks.

It comes with unlimited cloud DVR storage, allowing you to record up to nine months of programs. That's a lot of storage for a streaming service, but it's still not enough to keep up with all your holiday viewing needs.

Another feature that we liked is its ability to allow users to watch on multiple screens at once. This is great if you have kids and want to watch the same show on their computer and your TV at the same time.

The only downside to the feature is that it requires you to click a button to return to the main menu each time you get deep into one of its many options. That can be frustrating, especially on touchscreen-enabled devices where buttons aren't a good fit.

Streaming is available via the Tubi website, app, and on a variety of devices including set-top boxes, game consoles, and streaming sticks. It’s also a great option for people who want to watch TV on the go.

Although Tubi is completely free, there are some features that require an account, including queuing up interesting movies and shows, getting smart recommendations based on your viewing habits, and resuming something you started on any device. Whether or not you decide to create an account, though, you can download and watch Tubi shows and movies offline with a free tool like PlayOn Cloud.

The main advantage of PlayOn Cloud is that it auto-skips commercials when you’re watching Tubi content. You can also create a playlist of your favorite shows and movies for easy access.

As with most streaming services, Tubi has a surprisingly large library of content. The majority of it is classic movies and TV shows, but there’s also a nice collection of independent films and docos.

Another draw is its kids’ programming, which includes favorites like Naruto and Ninjago. You can even switch the Tubi experience to “Tubi for Kids” to search for more family-friendly content.

The service is available on a wide range of platforms, including iOS (opens in a new window) and apps for Android and Apple TV. Users can also use it on their Samsung, Sony or Vizio Smart TVs, and on a variety of set-top boxes and game consoles.
