Eddie Bayers

A key member of the Country Music industry for four decades, Bayers has been nominated for a "Musician of the Year" award and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. He has also worked with artists such as Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton, and Randy Travis.
When Bayers first started playing the drums, he did so under the influence of a mentor, the legendary Larrie Londin. During this time, Bayers played in a quartet with Londin. The mentorship helped him transition from a classical pianist to a drummer.

In 1990, Galante became president of RCA's U.S. operations. He was the first label chief to run the entire U.S. operation on Music Row. As head of RCA Nashville, he was responsible for signing such renowned artists as Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney and Sara Evans.
He was also instrumental in signing breakout acts such as Lisa Loeb, the Dave Matthews Band, the Wu-Tang Clan and the SWV. Moreover, he was involved in the evolution of RCA to Sony BMG Nashville.
Galante became a member of the Country Music Association's board of directors in 1978. Among the awards he has received is the Bob Kingsley Living Legend Award from the Opry Trust Fund.
Galante is a member of the Board of Directors of the Country Music Association Foundation. He was also honored for his contributions to the CMA by being awarded the J. William Denny Award for lifetime contributions in 2021.
He also authored the book Moneyball. In addition, he was a member of the CMA Foundation Board of Directors since 2011. During his tenure as a board member, he was the guiding force behind the philanthropic endeavors of the Opry Trust Fund and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Galante's parents were first-generation Americans from Sicily. His father had a long career with the United States Postal Service. They loved big band music and Italian operas. The Galante family grew up in a three-story brownstone apartment building.
Galante started his career with RCA Records in New York. After hearing Waylon Jennings' albums, he decided to make the switch to country music. By 1982, RCA had become the top country label. However, it lost its market share. Luckily, Galante was able to rebuild RCA's country division and help it regain its former market share.
Ashley Judd
The Judds, a country duo known for their hit songs, have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. They have won five Grammys and sold more than 20 million albums. This year, they also joined the likes of Ray Charles and Eddie Bayers in the Hall of Fame.

However, Whitley's life was cut short by alcoholism. He died in 1989 of acute ethanolism. At the time, he was just three weeks away from becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
During his career, Whitley had five number one hits. He also became a pioneer in the New Traditionalist revival of classic country music in the 1980s. His early work with Ralph Stanley's Clinch Mountain Boys, as well as his work with J.D. Crowe's New South band, were regarded as Hall of Fame caliber.
