How to Watch the Isle of Man TT

Often referred to as the world's last great motorsports event, the Isle of Man TT is a truly incredible experience. Every June racers compete on closed public two-lane country roads at speeds exceeding 200mph – one of the most dangerous races in the world.

For those who can't make it to the island in 2022 the organisers have introduced a digital live streaming channel for the first time. This will give TT fans the chance to watch all qualifying sessions and races from wherever they are in the world, as well as offering year-round TT original content.

Periscope

There are a number of ways to watch the Isle of Man TT races, whether you live in the UK or abroad it is possible to get access to live streaming from the event. In some cases you may have to pay a small fee but it is well worth the cost, especially if you are in the UK and cannot get there to watch the racing.

There is one way though, that may be of particular interest to those who are unable to get to the island in person and that is the use of webcams. Several of these webcams overlook parts of the course that are often overlooked by the official webcams and this can be very useful to give you a better idea as to what is going on.

Another option is to use a live video streaming service such as TT+ (which also costs a little bit of money but is very handy if you can afford it). This will allow you to watch all the practice and race sessions from any device with an internet connection including phones, laptops and even smart TVs for around 15 quid per year, that's an absolute bargain!

If you have a phone or tablet then there is an app called Periscope that you can download for free. It's a really simple to use service that allows you to share your own video with the world. This is a great option to share with friends and family and you can also use the service to watch other people's videos that are being streamed live on the Isle of Man TT.

You can also watch a highlights show on ITV4. This is something that has been available for some time and is well worth looking at, it will give you an insight into what the day's races were like and how things went down. It is worth noting that ITV4 is geo-blocked in most countries so it won't work unless you are using a VPN, which is a robust internet software that changes your location to appear as if you are accessing the internet from somewhere else.

ITV4

ITV4 has the exclusive rights to broadcast racing on the Isle of Man, every evening at 9pm during the fortnight long TT. You can watch live on your television or catch up on highlights on the ITV4 website.

ITV (formerly known as ITN) is a British television network that broadcasts in England, Wales, Scotland and the Channel Islands. The network also operates a morning breakfast service using the Good Morning Britain and Lorraine names, and is available free to air on cable and mobile telephone services across many parts of the UK and Ireland.

In addition to its main television channels, ITV owns ITV Studios, which produces a wide range of programming. In order to comply with the Broadcasting Act 1990, at least 25% of its networked output must be produced in-house.

As well as a range of networked programmes, ITV is also responsible for providing programming of public importance and producing accessible output containing subtitles, signing and audio description. It is a member of the Association of British Broadcasters and operates a network of regional TV stations under its ITV Network Limited brand.

The ITV network broadcasts in a variety of formats, including televised sport, children's and educational programming, documentaries, comedy and movies. In addition, ITV carries a number of its own productions and acquired content.

Throughout the year, ITV holds events and special shows. During the Isle of Man TT, it has the broadcast rights to show highlights from all five races on a daily basis. These are broadcast throughout the UK and Ireland and are also available on ITV4 in a range of countries.

ITV4 will also show a range of other programmes during the fortnight long TT, including the annual Virtual TT event. This year the programme will feature eight riders and gamers who have competed in the eTT. It is presented by Chris Pritchard with commentator Dave Moore.

There will also be a feature on the Honda Fireblade celebrating its 30th anniversary. Taking place on Monday 30 May, it will be a look at how the motorcycle came to be one of the most popular machines in the world.

With more than 6,000 hours of ITVX content, there’s plenty to look forward to on the new streamer. ITVX will be offering viewers a curated, scheduled channel experience on a variety of pop-up channels including Hell’s Kitchen US, True Crime, The Oxford Detectives, Love Island International, 90s Favourites and The Chase.

The company’s OTT platform is set to make the TT the star of the year and is likely to be the envy of its competitors. The TT is the oldest motorcycle event in the world and has been running for almost 100 years.
