How to Watch the New James Bond Movie Online

James Bond is one of the most popular movie franchises in history, and now you can stream all of them thanks to Amazon Prime Video. But with all the titles available, how do you know which ones to watch?

That’s where our guide comes in handy. It breaks down all 25 of the James Bond movies, so you can start your own 007 journey.

Spectre

In this latest installment of the 007 franchise, James Bond (Daniel Craig) uncovers a global criminal organization named Spectre. It's an organisation that Bond has faced in several of the original Connery-era films and Ian Fleming novels. It's a dangerous foe to face and the film does a good job of depicting its tactics.

The main premise of Spectre is that Blofeld and SPECTRE have a long-term goal of world domination. While the films have often played a role in ongoing Cold War rivalries, this is the first time that Blofeld and Spectre have been explicitly stated to be pursuing world domination as their objective. The only exception to this is You Only Live Twice when SPECTRE was working on behalf of an unnamed Asian government, who earlier backed Auric Goldfinger.

Spectre's biggest problem, however, is that it fails to differentiate itself from previous Bond films. It borrows heavily from Skyfall, and it attempts to do generational nostalgia, but it does so in such a clumsy and haphazard manner that the results are a diluted and dumbed-down remake of the franchise's recent history rather than something that challenges its own legacy.

This is a shame because Spectre has the potential to be a truly fantastic Bond movie if it can get the right balance of fast-paced action and classical Bond elements. The action is filmed wonderfully, the characters are engaging and the music, both by Thomas Newman and Sam Smith, is really fantastic.

If you want to watch Spectre you can find it on fuboTV, FXNow and Amazon Prime. You can also download or rent it on iTunes, Google Play and Vudu.

The film has a strong cast with Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris all doing very well. The action is fast and furious with a lot of exhilarating set-pieces but it isn't as emotionally satisfying as its immediate predecessor, Skyfall.

If you are a fan of the Bond series then Spectre is definitely worth watching. The action is thrilling, the cast is great and Daniel Craig's performance is once again perfect. Nevertheless, it's overly long and the pacing is a little slow in the second half of the film which makes it feel a bit anticlimatic.

No Time to Die

Bond’s long-awaited last film is finally ready to hit theaters this fall. Daniel Craig returns as the iconic spy for the final time and, despite a series of production problems that have slowed down the project, it looks like this is going to be a spectacular end to the franchise.

After a brief period off active duty, Bond (Daniel Craig) is recruited by CIA field officer Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) to locate a scientist who's been kidnapped. When the mission is complicated by a SPECTRE agent (Christoph Waltz) and a stolen biological weapon, Bond and his new team must put their skills to the test in order to prevent a devastating global disaster.

The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who has made a name for himself with such hits as "True Detective" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." The script was written by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge and longtime Bond writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

No Time to Die takes the standard ingredients of a Bond film -- fast cars, explosions, and a signature catchphrase -- and adds some new, unique elements. The most notable of these is a new masked villain named Safin, played by Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar winner Rami Malek.

With an emphasis on the supernatural, No Time to Die also draws heavily from horror movies. It opens with a flashback to a tense and chilling event that ties into the storyline. It’s also filled with a plethora of terrifying moments, from a masked figure chasing after Bond to a bionic eye popping out of a villain's head.

Throughout No Time to Die, there's a strong sense that 007 is being forced to confront some personal demons. He’s reunited with his former love Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), and the two of them are forced to face their past together. This is a risky move for Bond, who’s known to have a hard time letting go of the things that he once believed in.

The movie is packed with incredible action, a thrilling narrative, and lots of heart. It also reveals a lot about the character of James Bond himself. It’s a beautiful piece of cinema and one that will be loved by Bond fans and newcomers alike.

Skyfall

If you're looking to watch Skyfall online, it's available for streaming through several different services. If you're in the US, you can sign up for a Paramount Plus subscription and access the film with a 7-day free trial. After that, it's $4.99 for the essential plan or $9.99 for premium.

The newest addition to the Bond franchise is a lot of fun, but it also has its issues. It's not quite the heist movie that Casino Royale was and it doesn't tie into the previous two movies like Spectre did. But it's still an excellent way to see Daniel Craig in action as 007, and it's got one of the most memorable villains ever.

In this movie, Bond is a bit of a loner who doesn't have any friends. When his nemesis Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem) resurfaces after MI6's security has been breached, Bond is forced to confront his demons and face his past.

But he's still gritty, tough and totally unflappable in the face of danger. He shows a little vulnerability as well, and it's not emasculating to watch him deal with his emotions.

There's a lot to love about this film, from its action sequences and cinematography to the cast performances and the underlying theme of the Bond series as an allegory for modern society. But it's the emotional side of the story that really shines.

When a computer drive that holds a list of all the agents embedded around the world is stolen from MI6, M (Judi Dench) sends Bond out to catch the thief. Bond's fellow agent Eve (Naomie Harris) joins him, and they close in on the burglar. But a confrontation with Patrice (Ola Rapace) on a train-top leaves them both injured. Rather than let them die, M orders them to take out the thief together.

Bond and M end up back at the same house in the Scottish Highlands where they were both raised. As they get into the house, Bond's old friend Bill Tanner (Rory Kinnear) tries to stop them. But Tanner's booby traps are rigged, and Bond kills most of the men before they can get to him.

Die Another Day

Die Another Day is the fourth James Bond movie to star Pierce Brosnan. He plays 007 in this film and stars alongside Halle Berry, Rick Yune, and Madonna.

After a harrowing prison sentence for stealing a weapon, Bond is released from North Korea and goes on a revenge mission to find out who double-crossed him. He makes his way to Cuba, where he begins romancing NSA agent Jinx (Halle Berry).

While on the island, he uncovers a scheme to fund world domination with African conflict diamonds and the well-respected British multi-millionaire Gustav Graves. Graves is a rogue entrepreneur who illegally launders blood diamonds as payment for weapons and has a plan to build a satellite laser that would cut a path through the Korean Demilitarized Zone, allowing North Korea to invade South Korea.

The movie is rated PG-13 for violence, sex, and some off-screen deaths. It also includes a lot of explosions and action scenes that may not be suitable for younger viewers.

At the beginning of the film, Bond is captured by North Korean agents and tortured in a North Korean prison. He is then stung by black scorpions, watched squirm, and eventually administered an anti-venom. This is the most graphic of any Bond interrogation and is probably not a good idea for kids to see.

During his time in North Korea, Bond is treated to a number of different gimmicks that are supposed to make him a more attractive target. Among them are silhouettes of nubile women and various other tricks to get him to feel better.

He is also given a cyanide pill that he refuses to take because he has been avoiding it for years. This explains why he was so weak when he was seized, and it also allows him to escape without being detected.

The plot of Die Another Day is a bit strange, but it works as a revenge story. The villain is a multi-millionaire who illegally launders blood diamonds and has a plan to launch a satellite that would cut a path through the Korean DMZ. The climax is also quite violent, although most of the action is off-screen.
