How to Watch the New Proud Family Season 2 on Disney+

Penny’s New Neighbors

The couple beat out the Dunphy family from Modern Family and the Simpsons, who earned 11 percent of the vote. The survey asked 1,000 Americans which fictional characters they would like to live next to and with whom they wouldn’t want to share a fence.

Luckily, they’ve found some great neighbors who are adjusting well to the new family. In addition to Emily and Justin, they have Penny’s parents as well as her dog Pax.

She and Pax are very close, and it’s no wonder that they were both named the best neighbors in America. They’ve helped each other overcome their fears and become best friends. In fact, they’ve come a long way from the days when they were just puppies and had to be separated because of their fear of the cold.

Penny’s New Friends

As the new proud family settles into Smithville, Penny makes a number of new friends. She is particularly fond of her flamboyant friend Michael Collins (EJ Johnson) who has become very close to her after his contributions as choreographer for her girl group LPDZ.

She also has close relationships with Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer. They are all loyal to Penny and will stick up for her in key situations.

Although they are all new to the series, they quickly learn the ropes of the new family and adjust to the changes. Their friendships are bolstered when Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins (voiced by Keke Palmer) and her twin brother Francis “KG” Proud (A Boogie Dubose) arrive as new students at WSHS.

The Prouds are a very close-knit family and they always go out of their way to help their friends. Oscar and Trudy Proud have always been very protective of their kids and make sure that they have everything that they need.

They have a number of trouble-making kids at their home including Oscar’s fraternal twins, BeBe and CeCe (voiced by Aiden Dodson and Bresha Webb). BeBe has an afro hairstyle that is very unique. BeBe often tries to push his sister around and it sometimes causes them both to get hurt.

In addition, their neighbor Papi (Alvaro Gutierrez) and his daughter Suga Mama (Bresha Webb) are very warm to the Prouds and they will go out of their way to help them with their needs. In fact, they have even gone so far as to take the puppies that Papi brought for them when he was impregnated with La Lupe.

When the puppies are old enough to walk, they decide to start a new puppy playgroup. This soon becomes a big source of stress for the Prouds as the adults argue over who should be the leader of the puppies.

Luckily, Suga Mama is a strong woman who will stand up for her grandbaby and she will usually be the one to protect Penny from her parents’ criticisms. They are able to work out their differences and get along well.

Penny’s New Relationships

While we’ve all been watching Penny adjust to her new life in Stardew Valley, we haven’t seen much from her love life. Despite the fact that she and Leonard have been together for nine years, they are still in a relatively non-romantic relationship.

While this isn’t always a bad thing, it can lead to some red flags. This is especially true when a couple doesn’t hold hands very often or even seems happy together.

In season eight, Penny takes a job as a salesperson for Bernadette’s pharmaceutical company. Although she initially resists the idea, she eventually decides that this is a good choice because it will provide her with a steady income.
