How to Watch The Santa Clause on Disney Plus This Christmas

After he arrives at his home, Scott sheds off the bulky makeup and hefty suit that had become a trademark for him in this role. He then re-enters his snowy suburban home and quickly becomes Scott Calvin once again, ready to deliver presents to the kids of the world.

As the story progresses, Scott finds out that his son Charlie has fallen off the naughty list and he must find a way to get him back. He also finds out that a toy doppelganger of Santa, built by an elf named Curtis and played by Tim Allen, has become a dictator up at the North Pole and must be removed before Scott's wedding date.

While this film might be too many plots for a kids movie, it is still entertaining and is definitely worth watching again during the holiday season. It has a solid cast and is well-produced with little special effects, allowing the story to really shine through.

Among the extras are deleted scenes, a gag reel and behind-the-scenes footage. The audio and video transfers are solid as well, and the film's score is a great addition to this release.

As a bonus, The Santa Clause 2 also features several cameos by other Legendary Figures such as Mother Nature, Father Time, the Easter Bunny and Cupid. These characters are all played by notable comedians/character actors and can be a lot of fun to watch.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006)

Tim Allen reprises his role as Santa Scott Calvin in this 2006 holiday comedy, which brings new faces to the franchise such as Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin. But Christmas cheer turns into chaos when Jack Frost (Martin Short) launches a plot to take over the North Pole and reclaim his title of Santa Claus.

The third film in the Santa Clause series finds Scott struggling to keep up with the whirlwind of family events and to prepare for the arrival of his son's baby. He also tries to find time to keep the North Pole running smoothly while juggling a frantic plan from Jack Frost, who wants to take over the "big guy's" holiday and become his own savior.

But Scott's balancing act is made more difficult when Jack Frost discovers there's an escape clause in his contract that lets him leave the North Pole and return to his old life if he breaks it. He tricks Santa into uttering the clause, and they're sent back to 1994 when Scott caused the original Santa to fall off the roof, forcing him to dress in a new suit.

Once there, Jack tries to sabotage Santa's efforts to get presents ready in time for the holidays. He even goes so far as to enrage Bud and Sylvia, and steals the snow globe that Scott has for Lucy.

After a spirited battle with Jack, Scott eventually gets the snow globe back and is able to return to his own home. However, he must now find a way to get back to the present without using the santa clause.

This is a lighthearted movie that's sure to please kids, and the premise of the film is fun enough for adults as well. It's worth watching if you're looking for a quick movie that will get you in the mood for the holidays. It's also a great opportunity to discuss values such as forgiveness and kindness with your children.

The Santa Clause 4: The Santa Clauses (2017)

Tim Allen is back to reprise his iconic role as Santa Claus in Disney+'s new limited series The Santa Clauses, a direct sequel to the original 1994 film and its two sequels. Several cast members from the original trilogy are reprising their roles including Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin and David Krumholtz as Bernard, the head elf at the North Pole.
