In a segment called "Bloody Culloden," Heughan and McTavish reenact the Battle of Culloden, a bloody Jacobite uprising that lasted nearly six decades. Throughout the episode, they wear period-correct swords and shields, as well as loose-fitting, 18th-century-esque shirts with dark, roomy kilts.

While on the ruins of Trumpan Church in Skye, Heughan and McTavish speak with leaders from both the MacDonalds and Macleods, clans that were once allied but have since become embroiled in a bitter, centuries-old feud. Nearly 450 years later, the tension between the two Scottish clans remains, and Heughan and McTavish express their bewilderment at the seemingly intractable nature of it all.

And if that's not enough, they also pay a visit to the Laphroaig distillery on the Isle of Islay, where they learn the art of whisky-making and belly flop into the malted barley supply.

There's something really special about watching Heughan and McTavish just be themselves on a travel adventure like this. It's a genuine bond of friendship, and it makes for a very entertaining experience.
