A few weeks later, Blu and his family return to the Amazon for another exciting adventure. As they tangle with loggers and other Amazonian animals, they discover that their wildest dreams are closer than they think in this colorful, musical and action-packed sequel to the hit movie of 2011.

Parents need to know that while Rio 2 isn't quite as original as its predecessor, it's still an entertaining and fun family-friendly movie that'll have audiences singing along from beginning to end. The music isn't as catchy or memorable as the first film, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable for kids to listen to. With a slew of singers including Mars, Kristin Chenoweth, and Janelle Monae, it's hard not to get caught up in the rhythm of this animated adventure.
