How to Watch BlizzConline Online

BlizzCon may have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic last year, but this year it's going online in the form of BlizzConline. This event will feature presentations, panels, and reveals on all sorts of Blizzard games, with content tailored to the titles fans are most interested in.

The two-day showcase is scheduled for February 19-20 and there's a lot to look forward to. All of it will be available free of charge.

Day 1

BlizzCon is the annual fan event that celebrates all things video game-related from developer Blizzard Entertainment. The company typically announces new games during the convention, and fans can get hands-on previews of upcoming releases and enter art and cosplay contests. It has also featured concerts by rock bands such as Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Metallica, and Ozzy Osbourne.

This year, BlizzCon was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but Blizzard has announced that it is taking the show online. In what it calls BlizzConline, fans can watch a two-day virtual event that will feature "detailed panels" on the world's most popular gaming franchises like Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, and Overwatch 2.

Day 1 of the event started Friday at 2 pm PST, with a series of opening segments featuring a first look at some of the latest game content the development teams have been working on. After the opening segment, viewers will have the option to tune in to six themed channels that focus on Blizzard's biggest games.

Each of the six streams will run for three-plus hours, giving fans plenty of time to watch all of the action. There will also be a variety of fan events, such as the “Virtual March of the Murlocs” and a “Community Showcase,” which will highlight the best art, talent, storytelling, and cosplay from the Blizzard community.

There will also be several Q&A sessions, including one on World of Warcraft, a "Deep Dive" panel on Diablo, and a "Q & A" with Hearthstone developers. Overwatch, meanwhile, will have a special "SF Shock vs. The World" matchup, while Starcraft will have a "Starcraft Legends" panel with the developers.

The second day of the event will begin at 12 pm PST, with a refocused theme that will showcase fan-made content and the community surrounding Blizzard's games. This will include a "Virtual March of the Murlocs" video featuring members of the global Blizzard community, as well as a "Community Showcase" that highlights the winners and outstanding entries in various contests and exhibitions from around the world.

Day 2

After the opening ceremony, viewers can split off into six different channels dedicated to World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, StarCraft, Diablo, Overwatch and Strategy (StarCraft, Warcraft III, Classic Blizzard). Each of these channels will feature a mix of content, including community showcases, artist streams, and Q&A sessions with the developers behind the franchises.

On the WoW channel, you can expect to see a lot of new information about the upcoming expansions and updates for the game. There will also be a live stream of a World of Warcraft tournament, featuring some of the biggest names in the gaming industry.

The Hearthstone channel will feature a lot of new information about the newest additions to the game, as well as some of the top Hearthstone streamers. They will be discussing the new maps and content in detail, while also talking about the history of the game and how it has evolved.

It's worth noting that the original version of the performance was posted on the official BlizzConline livestream and Blizzard's YouTube channel. That's why it was so surprising to see the performance censored on Twitch.

The next day will feature more content, including a Diablo One-Shot and community showcases. There's also a StarCraft Legends 2v2, 3v3, and Free For All showmatch that will pit four legends against each other in a series of matches that take place in both the original StarCraft and the remastered version.
