How to Watch Top Chef Season 19

It's that time again, when Top Chef season 19 is aired. This season we have two new additions to the cast: Leia Gaccione and Robert Hernandez. Also, we have some familiar faces returning, including Padma and Sarah Welch.

Leia Gaccione

Leia Gaccione, who owns two restaurants in Morristown, NJ, will be competing on season 19 of "Top Chef". Before becoming a chef, she studied culinary arts at New York Restaurant School and worked for Bobby Flay for seven years. She has appeared on several TV shows, including Iron Chef America and Beat Bobby Flay.

In season 19, Gaccione will be joining fourteen other chefs to compete for the title of Top Chef. There's a $250,000 grand prize up for grabs and the chef who gets rid of all the other competitors wins. So, what should you expect from Season 19?

Finally, there was the Elimination Challenge. The team selected a round cut of beef. However, it didn't make the grade. It had a lack of cohesion and used a key ingredient poorly.

In the end, it was the fried popcorn rattlesnake dish that won over Tom Colicchio. Unfortunately, it was not enough to convince the judges that Leia was still in it for the long haul.

Robert Hernandez
