While the Techno Trousers are adapted for the job, Wallace and Gromit watch as Feathers is preparing to take his master's diamond. This is where the film gets its name: The Wrong Trousers!
The 'Wrong Trousers' is a reference to the wrong trousers that Wallace wears when he's in the museum. They're not designed to be worn around the house, but Wallace is too lazy to buy replacements and just wears the same ones all day!
But as the heist progresses, Wallace is forced to break them out and use them to help him. The only problem is that when he's in the Techno Trousers, he's stuck in them, so he has to get help from Gromit.
