As a skier and Olympic hopeful, Bloom was a promising player; but she had trouble managing her money. That's where she came up with the idea of running a high-stakes poker game that was held at luxury hotels around the world.

Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and eventually, a Russian mob. As a result, she was the subject of numerous investigation.

However, she defended herself against all charges, and was never convicted. In addition, her father was also able to help her out, but she always remained loyal to him, even though she loathed his infidelity.

This is a classic Sorkin character; a woman who loves her father, but hates him for cheating on her. She's not afraid to speak her mind, but she knows that her actions will hurt people and families.

She's also a very good judge of character, and she's determined to do right by her customers and her employees. But she's not sure how to go about it.

That's where Chastain comes in. She's a strong actress, and her performance as the ambitious, driven, but flawed poker player is excellent.

Sorkin's script is a verbose delight, and his cinematography delivers a breathless pace with a lot of visual dynamism. Despite all of that, he's able to balance his writing with a compelling story about an unlikely woman, and her fight for her freedom.

For those who have a deep interest in the history of American government and politics, Sorkin's work is a must-watch. It's a great example of how smart people can be corrupted by the system and manipulated by power.

Molly’s Game is a compelling story that explores the complexities of sexism and competition, as well as self-reliance and resilience. It’s also a reminder of what women can do when they stand up to sexism.

But it’s also a movie that can’t help but feel murky in light of the era it was made in, a time when ego-fueled male entitlement has led to a culture of moral confusion. While Sorkin makes a clear case for what’s right, and who deserves to be lauded, you get the sense that audiences won’t be willing to swallow the movie’s conclusions.

Sorkin is a brilliant writer, and Chastain is an unstoppable force of nature. But Molly’s Game is a slow-burning movie with a few minor flaws. It’s not as exciting or engrossing as some of Sorkin’s other works, and there are some clunky daddy/daughter-codd moments that could have been avoided with a little editing.
